  • SPRING ORIENTEERING IN NEW ENGLAND IS IN FULL GEAR
    The local orienteering scene is powered by volunteers and it has been great to see so many folks supporting the Spring O' Activities in the region!!! In the next month we have volunteers organizing BYOM events, trainings, Park-Os and more! Come out and enjoy the fun! For all those folks heading to Gilford, NH for the annual running of the Billygoat or Kid goat this weekend, we wish you the best of luck!
  • Mt. Misery BYOM (Lincoln, MA) (May 11-19): Come out and enjoy a new LiDAR-based map of Mt. Misery. BYOM courses (White through Green) will be available and you can track your progress using QR codes, UsynligO, or O-Range. Parking at 60 S. Great Road, Lincoln MA, with overflow parking near a big field just west of the canoe launch at 24 S. Great Road.
    Intermediate Training Meet-up: Meet up with some experienced orienteers on May 19 from 1-2pm to focus on core skills required to either improve on Orange or to move to Brown. See details on website. Sign up in advance (required).
  • Spring Park-O Thursday Series (SPOTS): We have made it to event three of this seven-event series. Register for the full series or for just one of the events. Pre-registration is required by Tuesday before the event. We will be in Burlington, MA this week.

    • May 2: Franklin Park - Boston
    • May 16: Mary Cummings Park* - Burlington
    • May 23: Fresh Pond - Cambridge
    • May 30: Edmunds Park - Newton
    • June 6: Hammond Pond - Newton
    • June 13: Pine Banks - Malden
  • NEOC/UNO Memorial Day Weekend Training (Hanover, NH): Register now for what will undoubtedly be a fun training weekend. See the details on the website. You can join for a single day or join the group camping for the real experience. Space is limited so register now! Registration closes May 22.
