June 18 DCR Blue Hills (Milton, MA): Join us for a mass start Score-O (plus white course) and picnic. You will have an hour to get as many controls as you can and then join us to chat and find out about the fall schedule, the next gear order, finances, and more. Prizes from the 2022 Fall Series will also be handed out. Check to see if you were a lucky winner! Bring your ideas and vote for 2023-24 board members.
Registration: 10 - 10:30 am
Mass Start: 10:30 am (white course runners can start from 10:30 - 11:00 am) - we will have a funky mass start kick-off 'bell' (curious what it will be, come see!)
11: 45 am Picnic & Meeting - Grill food sign-up: Jon Campbell has graciously agreed to be the grill-master but we are asking that you sign up for your grill food here so that we get our numbers right! We will provide grill food (beef and veggie burgers and hot dogs) and fixings, watermelon, a veggie tray, drinks and snacks. Bring your own dishes if you can (let's help take care of our natural resources!). Potluck dishes are definitely welcome, but not necessary!
Location:Picnic Area 5 (parking near picnic area or in main lot). This site is different than the location used in recent years.
Junior and National Team Member Travel Stipends: NEOC is offering domestic ($500) and international ($1,000) travel stipends for juniors and OUSA national team members that apply. We ask that your short e-mail application addresses the following criteria:
The national/international competition or training camp that the funds will be used to support;
NEOC member status;
How you have supported NEOC activities during 2023 (or state how you plan to if you haven't had a chance to yet);
NEOC club junior (ages 21 and under) or OUSA national team member.
