Saturday Morning: Youth groups (must have at least two adults) will arrive Saturday morning between 9:30 and 11 AM, pick up their packets, and go out on their 1st course (with an instructor, if requested at registration). Youth (and adults) will be able to learn orienteering skills such that they will be able to orienteer through the woods on their own. Additional orienteering courses at 3 different levels will be available to practice orienteering skills, with the last groups going out at 2 PM. You may do as many courses as you wish prior to the courses closing at 3 PM.

Saturday Night: Night-O (approximately 6:30-8:30 pm) is our night orienteering challenge. Take your orienteering skills to a new level when the landscape is dark!

New to Orienteering? First time at Scout-O? Leaders/other adults are highly encouraged to attend Leader Training before the event to learn how to orienteer and ask any questions.

REGISTRATION DEADLINE: October 6, 2019 or 400 Scouts, whichever comes first. We need the time to print maps and assemble a packet of materials in advance.

PATCHES: Free custom designed event patches will be given to the first 400 registered and paid.

REFUNDS: Because of the up front facility fee and because the courses are preprinted on your maps, we cannot give refunds after the registration deadline.

We also may need help with parking early in the day.   Troops larger than 10 are expected to provide one adult volunteer. Assignments to be made with the confirmation.
