Public Transportation

To/From Logan Airport

The Logan Express is a shuttle bus that runs regularly between Logan Airport and the Anderson Regional Transportation Center (a 25-minute walk to the Meet Hotel, see below).  The trip takes about 45 minutes and costs $12 one-way.  From the airport, take the Woburn Logan Express.

To/From Downtown Boston

The Meet Hotel is a 25-minute walk to the Anderson/Woburn station (map of walking directions). (Yes, the Mishawum station is closer, but it has very few weekday stops, and no weekend stops.)

At the Anderson/Woburn station you can catch the MBTA commuter rail to take the "Lowell Line" inbound to North Station in Boston. It is a 24-minute ride that will cost $2.25 each way -- be sure to buy your ticket in the station to avoid a surcharge.  Buy a round ticket while you're there.  Children 11 and under ride free.

At North Station, you can get the Green Line and Orange Line of the subway ("the T").  You must buy subway tickets from one of the vending machines, near the subway turnstiles.

From North Station it is an easy walk to the North End (Old North Church, Italian pastries, gelato, cash-only restaurants), or about a one-mile walk to the Boston Common and the Public Garden.
