After showers the night before, Sunday turned out cool and sunny, and an enthusiastic bunch of orienteers showed up for a fine day in the woods. (Admittedly, the meet workers did some shivering in the strong intermittent breeze at the edge of the field.) Several people, mostly groups, tried orienteering for the first time on the white and yellow courses. Since the courses were all on the short side, a two-loop motala comprised of the the yellow and orange course was offered for those who wanted more running. Apologies to the first few white runners who encountered a missing control flag that had been removed in error after the Scout-O on Saturday.

Thanks to Pete Lane and the others from the Scout-O who hung the courses that we re-used. Cameron and Valerie Murray, Scott Turner, Anne Leiserson, and Mark Webb provided much-appreciated assistance with the starts, finishes, registration, and control pick-up.
