This was our first attempt at holding a club event on a Park-O map that is being developed for use by the Riverfront Outdoor Programs. Riverside Park provides us with a park setting along the CT River where we can enjoy a picnic supper and then participate in a fun orienteering activity. Next summer, we hope to make regular use of the facility where many forms of Orienteering can be implemented.

Unfortunately, a lack of publicity and conflicts with the start of school in many local communities contributed to the limited attendance at this event.
