In case anybody hadn't noticed it was spring, the weather at Prospect Hill was indisputably gorgeous, with warmth, abundant sunshine and long range visibility. We had 149 participants, young and not as young, including a group of scout leaders getting some training for the Scout-O, and a family from Rochester, NY. Several courses explored a few seldom used sections of the park at the expense of a little extra climb and the 4.9k green course was woven in like a snake.

Thanks go to Barry Goldstein for vetting the courses, including green/brown in very icy conditions and the magic (or hard work) of Pete Lane for hanging the controls. At the meet, registration was done by Caroline Fleming and Martin Kessel, Steve Van Ness and Drew Laughland did starts, Ceire Fleming, Mike Cooper and Ann Jochnick did finishes, Marsha Westerberg provided instruction and equipment support, and Pelle Wahlstrom and Jim Paschetto picked up controls. Joanne Sankus was also very helpful with the permissions process, moving equipment, and more. All the helpers deserve a big thanks.
