A really perfect day at a great venue. Slightly humid but around 75 degrees. Thunderstorms threatened but passed us by. Woods are really nice, only nuicence was the mosquitoes. We had epunch on the Orange to Blue course, pin punch on White and Yellow. Some newcomers enjoyed multiple courses, but in an unusual twist, there were more runners on the Blue than either the White or Yellow courses.

I was surprised at the number of DNFs of experienced O'ers on the Red and Green courses. There was quite a bit of climb, but the winning times were in the ball park so perhaps people were just into more relaxing than competing.
One control deep in the woods on the hillside was missing a flag, just a bare pole and epunch box were there confirm the location. That was unintentional, and we still can't figure out what happened. Did I stake it in without the bag, or did it go missing on Saturday…eaten by a deer?
