Unlike the beautiful weather at Hale on Saturday for the Scout O, Sunday was a prelude to Monday's weather for the Marathon. It was cold, wet, raining, low 40's, but at least without the driving wind that was predicted. In spite of all that, 28 hardy orienteers braved the conditions to run on Jeff Saeger's courses. Compliments were received for the green course which was said to have excellent route choices. Because of the vile weather predictions the red course was not offered on Sunday.

Thanks to Bob Dangel, an early green runner, for going back and replacing a missing control; to Laurie Kubik, Nancy Sankus, Jim Paschetto, Scott Turner and Bill Pullman. It is always the ones who pitch in and help that determine the success of an event.
