My best meet decision was to have it on Saturday - when the weather was fine for orienteering - and not on Sunday - when it started raining at the time we would have been setting up.

Map/Course complaints seemed limited to the un-mapped trails arising from the power line and the residential area in the NE corner of the map. In answer to that, all I can do is quote the top message on the Course Setter's Notes board that was prominently displayed at the Registration area:

Obviously,the ideal solution would be not to use this area. (Plus, some of the best areas for orienteering are in the barely used western end of the map.) Unfortunately, access and facilities have always necessitated holding the meet at the east end of the map. However, in order to use the western end for our next meet, we should have an amenities-free Registration area with "un-easy parking" and an unpleasant route to S/F. (I think orienteerers will find it worth the trouble.)

Many thanks to great helpers, starting with my wife Doris and her sister Mae Grone, non-orienteerers who handled a very busy registration as if they did it all the time.
