A cold, raw and wet day drew 35 hardy participants. Fortunately, there was no conflict with a road race starting from the Vocational School at the opposite end of the Park- that race only drew 70 runners, including Dave Dunham, who also ran the Orange course after cooling down and changing clothes. Proper O-attire today ranged from full rain suits, to traditional O-suits, to Jeff Schaprio's trademark holey tee shirt.

Thanks to helpers Harriet Cohen and Joe Sternfeld, who braved the cold and wind at registration and starts. Aims Coney saved my hands with an extra pair of gloves. Joanne Sankus, Tim & Meg Parson, and Carolyn Fleming helped with control retrieval.
