It was a beautiful sunny day. Thanks to my primary helper Joanne Sankus who brought the equipment, met me at the park at 8:30a.m. with the controls for the white and yellow courses, put out the yellow course controls, helped (start/finish, registration and instruction) from 10a.m. to 1p.m and waited after 3:30p.m. for the last controls to be picked up.

Each control on the score-o was assigned a point value of 10, 20 or 30 points. Each competitor selected a time limit of 60 or 90 minutes and lost 10 points for each minute over 60/90 minutes (indicated by OVT in the results).

After the long day (starting at 7a.m. when I left home), I really appreciated all of the help picking up the controls. Thanks to Paige Williams and Sarah and Michelle Hughes who retrieved the white controls and Ross Smith, Ian Smith and Brendan Shields who retrieved the yellow and score-o controls. Thanks also to Dennis Struble who put out the score-o controls which were used on both Saturday and Sunday.
