Excellent, enthusiastic, and pleased turn-out, although NEOC-RI wishes there had been a better representation of the "regulars"-especially NEOC officers. It would be nice if NEOC supported our efforts; and the mappers would have appreciated any suggestions the experts might have had about the map - though, much to the satisfaction of all, there were no problems with either the map or control placement. (However "the course setter" obviously made Orange a little too challenging - though that was partly secondary to an overflowing beaver dam.)

Anyway, perhaps the low member turnout was due to the fact that, well after our meet was scheduled, a conflicting one was added - seemingly an annual ritual for NEOC. (Ed. note: the other event was NEOC's annual collaboration with the CT Trails Day event.)
